In his memoir, Spare, Prince Harry described an alleged confrontation with his older brother in 2019, claiming that an argument over Meghan Markle escalated into a physical altercation that left him on the floor.

According to Harry, William reportedly described Meghan as “difficult, rude, and abrasive,” words that allegedly intensified an already heated disagreement between the brothers.

Harry’s account describes a frightening moment in which he says William grabbed him by the collar, damaged his necklace and knocked him onto a dog’s bowl, leaving him dazed with injuries to his back. Harry also wrote that his brother later returned, appeared regretful and apologized
