So Charming: Taylor Swift charms crowd with sweet Polish words during Eras tour in Warsaw Unmissable moments!!!

Taylor Swift may have been taking some Polish lessons on the road!

The pop superstar, 34, won over her Eras Tour crowd in Warsaw this week when she surprised fans with a few phrases she’s learned in the language — including some fun introductions and “I love you’s.”

After performing her second consecutive show of three at Warsaw’s PGE Narodowy on Friday, Aug. 2, fans of the musician were quick to compile clips of her Polish-speaking highlights, including one shared by TikTok user Julia Fijałkowska.

The video kicked off with a caption reading “Taylor and her team speaking Polish,” with “Warsaw N2,” written underneath, indicating the video was from the second night of the pop superstar’s performances in the city.

Next in the clip, Swift surprised the crowd with the greeting “siema” while waving to fans, before she announced “milo was poznać” (or “nice to meet you”).

Elsewhere during her set, Swift told the stadium “warszawa, witajcie na Eras Tour” (“welcome to the Eras Tour”), “kocham was” (“I love you”), “dziękjię” (“thank you”) and “wszystko dobrze” (which loosely translates to an “everything’s fine?” or “all good?”).

It seems Swifties were impressed with their idol’s linguistic abilities, as one in particular wrote on X (formerly Twitter) that her efforts were “a huge win for Slavic Swifties.”

Elsewhere during Swift’s second night in Warsaw, she made sure to keep her setlist timely. Before singing Folklore standout “August,” she smiled and asked fans, “Hey, what month is it?”, as captured by a fan on TikTok.

And for her surprise songs in the setlist, Swift got creative with two brand-new mashups for her Warsaw crowd to enjoy. For one, she got experimental with colors, sharing a nearly 5-minute piano-side rendition of her two tracks “Red” (the title track to her 2012 album) and “Maroon” (a fan-favorite of 2022’s Midnights). Some fans even transcribed the combined lyrics on social media. “Loving him was red, so scarlet it was maroon,” Swift closed the performance.

Swift’s other new mash-up was an acoustic combination of tracks “I Can Fix Him (No Really I Can)” (off The Tortured Poets Department) and “I Can See You” from Speak Now (Taylor’s Version).

The popularity of Swift’s Eras Tour has even brought out fans who didn’t score tickets, as the singer-songwriter’s gigs in Munich, Germany inspired numerous Swifties to watch her from a hill overlooking the venue. After her time in the city, Swift wrote in an Instagram caption on Wednesday, July 31, that the shows were a “magical experience.”

“The crowds of 74,000 people a night in the stadium were so passionate, and so generous to us. And I had no idea before I got to Munich that there’s a huge park behind the stadium, but around 50,000 people came out and listened to the show from the hillside both nights,” Swift wrote.

She added, “I’ve been watching so many videos of the crowds out there fully participating in the show from afar, all that joy… I’m feeling really grateful for the unexpected memories this tour has created. We have 11 shows left on the European leg of the tour, kicking off *August* with 3 shows in Warsaw!”

Swift performs next in Warsaw for the third time on this leg on Saturday, Aug. 3, before heading to Vienna for three gigs on Aug. 8-10 at the city’s Ernst-Happel-Stadion.
