Serena Williams brings Wimbledon vibes to the Spanish royal event and Alexis Ohanian’s sweet reaction wins hearts
Tennis legend Serena Williams received the 2025 Princess of Asturias Award for Sports in Spain, stunning in an all-white Elie Saab dress that evoked Wimbledon’s dress code. Her husband, Alexis Ohanian, praised her as ‘Flawless!!’ as Williams expressed deep honor and humility in joining past recipients of the prestigious award.
Serena Williams’ husband, Alexis Ohanian, couldn’t stop praising his wife after she brought a little bit of Wimbledon style to Spain. The tennis legend, who has won 23 Grand Slam singles titles and held the World No. 1 ranking in both singles and doubles, received the 2025 Princess of Asturias Award for Sports in Oviedo, Spain, on October 25, 2025.
When Serena shared photos from the royal event on X on November 4, she looked stunning in an all-white open-knit Elie Saab dress. The look reminded everyone of Wimbledon’s famous “all white” dress code. Serena joked about it in her post, writing:
“So… what do you wear when you’re getting an award from the King, Queen, and Princess of Spain? I went with white. All white. Wimbledon rules still apply, apparently.” Her husband Alexis Ohanian, who co-founded Reddit, was quick to react. He reposted her photos with a simple but sweet message: “Flawless!!”
