Justin Bieber knows about Diddy’s case but wants to stay out of it
Many believe the Canadian musician knows more about Sean “Diddy” Combs than he is willing to discuss
Justin Bieber is prioritizing family as he navigates the recent arrest of his friend and collaborator, Sean “Diddy” Combs.
A source told People Magazine that the 30-year-old musician is putting all his energy into looking after his wife, Hailey Bieber, and their newborn son, Jack Blues, whose birth was announced last month.
While aware of Diddy’s arrest on September 16, stemming from serious sex trafficking and sexual assault allegations, Justin is choosing not to dwell on the situation.
“It’s not anything that he wants to focus on,” the insider explained.
Instead, he has been living in a “happy bubble” since Jack’s arrival, with a focus on being a devoted husband and father.
Why is Diddy’s arrest relevant to Bieber?
Diddy’s arrest occurred at a New York City hotel after a grand jury indictment. U.S. Attorney Damian Williams announced that Diddy had been taken into custody based on a sealed indictment, which later revealed charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation for prostitution.
In response to the allegations, Diddy’s lawyer, Marc Agnifilo suggested his client was being unfairly treated.
“We are disappointed with the decision to pursue what we believe is an unjust prosecution of Mr. Combs.”
As for Justin and Hailey, they are embracing their new roles as parents. They announced Jack’s birth on August 23, with Justin sharing an adorable photo of the baby’s foot on Instagram.
“WELCOME HOME JACK BLUES BIEBER,” read the caption.
A source close to the couple revealed that they are overjoyed to be first-time parents. The baby is a long-awaited wish for them.
“The day they found out that Hailey was pregnant was the best ever for Justin. He was over the moon with excitement,” the insider shared with People Magazine.
Many, though, feel that Justin Bieber’s arrival into the Hollywood scene came at a price, and whilst he doesn’t appear willing to talk about Sean Combs’ legal case, or the friendship they once shared, people believe that he could well be an important witness at some point in the future.
