Joe Alwyn steps out solo on the red carpet at Kinds Of Kindness Cannes Film Festival premiere while ex Taylor Swift puts on a loved up display with boyfriend Travis Kelce in Lake Como

Joe Alwyn continued to put on a defiant display as he stepped out solo on the Kinds Of Kindness red carpet at the 77th annual Cannes Film Festival. Joe cut a dapper figure in a classic black two-piece suit layered over a crisp white shirt to the premiere of his latest flick, Kinds Of Kindness.

The movie star, 33, who stars as Jerry in the film, looked classically handsome, and he finished his look with a pair of shiny black suit shoes. Joe posed confidently as he smouldered down the barrel of the cameras. The actor accessorized his look with some black sunglasses and a skinny black tie. But while he was putting on a confident display for the cameras, his ex, Taylor, looked smitten with her man Travis.

They enjoyed a romantic day on the water during their trip to Lake Como, Italy, this week – amid a break in the European leg of her The Eras Tour which begins again in Sweden on Friday. The superstar singer and the Kansas City Chiefs star who were seen enjoying a candlelit dinner at a €20,000 a night villa at the five star Grand Hotel Tremezzo, were seen kissing as they cuddled on a water taxi. Taylor will resume her tour in Stockholm, Sweden at Friends Arena on May 17, 18, and 19.

Last month she released several savage tracks about their failed six-year relationship on the record, The Tortured Poets Department. It came nearly a year after the end of Joe’s relationship with Taylor. Taylor may have accused Joe of shattering her dreams of marriage and children in stinging new lyrics on her album – but the British actor will retain a modicum of silence, and has no plans to react, insiders previously claimed.

Joe, has never publicly discussed his split from the singer, whom he dated for six years from 2017 until their breakup in April 2023. But Taylor has seemingly bared her soul about the break down of their romance on her latest album – with insiders claiming Joe has been left ‘disappointed’ and has banned any mention of the singer from the upcoming press tour for his new film, Kinds of Kindness. ‘There has been absolutely zero contact between them,’ a source exclusively told DailyMail.com ‘She did not run these songs by him, but he did not expect her to.

‘Joe has listened to the album, and he is slightly disappointed but not surprised at all. ‘She didn’t really trash him or defame him. Joe is not going to react to this.’ Taylor mostly retreated from the spotlight during her time with Joe, with the super private pair rarely pictured in public together. They won a Grammy for Album of the Year in 2021 after Joe co-wrote and co-produced a number of tracks on her album Folklore under the pseudonym William Bowery.

They were also nominated for the same award a year later for Evermore. The insider explained that Joe was more than aware of Taylor’s songwriting process thanks to the tracks they had created together. ‘Taylor draws on her relationships for almost all her songs and he admires her artistry,’ the insider added. ‘He has made a ton of money off the six songs that he wrote for Taylor in the past and he is grateful that their relationship also helped to make him a household name.’

‘He has a movie coming out that he is focused on,’ the source stated. ‘He will be doing press – but will not be entertaining any Taylor questions. ‘Joe has moved on. He is not holding any grudges against her for doing what she does. He knows that it was par for the course.’ In previous years, the Boy Erased actor refused to publicly discuss their relationship. ‘People on the street wouldn’t tell strangers about their personal lives , so why should I?’ he said before they split last year.

In 2022, he told Harper’s Bazaar that he ‘can understand’ the interest in their relationship as he is a public figure, before adding: ‘but I don’t see why these questions should always be answered.’

I completely expect people to ask those questions, if I’m putting work into the world, of course people are going to ask about that,’ he added. But despite being split for a year, Taylor’s latest record has increased speculation about their romance, with the song appearing to accuse Joe of cheating and shattering her vision of the future in songs including So Long, London and Fresh Out the Slammer. After TTPD dropped, Taylor shared a statement about letting go of the ‘sensational and sorrowful’ time that inspired the album.

‘This period of the author’s life is now over, the chapter closed and boarded up,’ she wrote. ‘There is nothing to avenge, no scores to settle once wounds have healed. ‘And upon further reflection, a good number of them turned out to be self-inflicted. ‘This writer is of the firm belief that our tears become holy in the form of ink on a page. Once we have spoken our saddest story, we can be free of it. And then all that’s left behind is the tortured poetry.’ The album also appears to reference her brief dalliance with The 1975 frontman Matty Healy in the weeks after her split from Joe.

BREAKING NEWS | AUSTRALIA Australia on Edge: Historic Gun Buyback, Protest Law Backlash — and an Ashes Star Steals the Spotlight Australia is waking up to a day of big decisions, loud debates, and sporting glory — and everyone is talking. In a move not seen in 30 years, the federal government has announced the largest gun buyback program in decades, following rising security concerns nationwide. Supporters say it’s a bold step to protect lives. Critics argue it’s a rushed response that could punish law-abiding citizens. Either way, the decision has reignited a fierce national conversation about safety, rights, and control. At the same time, New South Wales protest laws are facing intense backlash. BREAKING NEWS: U.S. Immigration Crackdown: Trump Suspends Green Card Lottery Washington, D.C. — President Donald Trump has suspended the U.S. Diversity Immigrant Visa Program, commonly known as the green card lottery, marking a major escalation in his administration’s immigration crackdown. The program, which grants up to 55,000 permanent residency visas annually to applicants from underrepresented countries, has been a legal pathway to the United States for millions worldwide. The White House said the suspension is aimed at strengthening national security and shifting the immigration system toward a merit-based framework. Administration officials argue the lottery lacks sufficient screening standards and does not align with the president’s broader immigration priorities. Trump has repeatedly criticized the program, calling it outdated and vulnerable to abuse. The decision has drawn swift criticism from immigrant advocacy groups and Democratic lawmakers, who say the move unfairly targets applicants from Africa, Asia, and other developing regions where the lottery has played a significant role. Critics warn the suspension will limit legal immigration options and separate families who have waited years for a chance to apply. Supporters of the policy, however, praise the move as a necessary step to tighten border controls and prioritize skills-based immigration. They argue the suspension reflects voter demands for stricter or lead to permanent legislative changes. Legal challenges are expected, and immigration advocates say they will continue to push Congress to restore the program.

🖲 Breaking news:Trump Asks Supreme Court To Overturn E. Jean Carroll Verdict Former President Donald Trump has taken his legal battle to the U.S. Supreme Court, asking the justices to overturn the civil verdict in favor of writer E. Jean Carroll—a move that is already sparking intense national debate. The verdict, which found Trump liable for sexual abuse and defamation and ordered him to pay millions in damages, marked a historic moment in U.S. legal history. Trump has consistently denied the allegations, calling the case politically motivated and the ruling unfair. Trump’s legal team argues the case raises serious constitutional and free-speech concerns, warning that the decision could weaken presidential protections and expose current and former leaders to endless lawsuits. If the Supreme Court agrees to hear the appeal, the outcome could reshape the limits of presidential immunity and redefine accountability for those who once held the nation’s highest office. For now, the verdict remains in effect as the court decides its next move.see more 👇👇👇

BREAKING NEWS Donald Trump says former White House physician Ronny Jackson told him he was “by far the healthiest” president—ranking above Barack Obama and Joe Biden. Speaking at a Hanukkah reception on December 16, 2025, Trump recalled being present when Jackson was asked who was the healthiest among the three presidents. According to Trump, the doctor’s response was direct: “Trump was by far the healthiest.” Now 79 years old, Trump used the remark to reinforce claims of strong physical health amid growing public attention on his age. The statement aligns with Jackson’s past praise, including a 2024 declaration that Trump was “the healthiest president this nation has ever seen.” Trump’s comments follow recent medical evaluations, including MRI scans conducted in October 2025, which reportedly showed “perfectly normal” results. His medical team has described him as being in excellent overall health, despite his advanced age. However, Jackson himself has faced controversy this year, with reports of misconduct and a demotion from his military rank. His continued loyalty to Trump has fueled mixed public reactions, raising questions about credibility and objectivity see more 👇👇👇
